Weight 0,2 kg

Protea eximia, also known as the broad-leaf sugarbush, is an easy-to-grow shrub that flourishes in well-drained, nutrient-poor soils. It prefers a sunny location with good air circulation and is tolerant of wind and light frost. Regular watering is important, particularly in autumn, winter, and spring; however, avoid over-fertilising, as this plant has a sensitive root system. Instead of strong fertilisers, use this one always following its instructions.
When planting, consider grouping three to five plants together to support one another and create a denser bush. It's beneficial to regularly pinch young plants to promote branching, and be sure to remove spent flower heads promptly to encourage further growth. This long-lived species can reach ages of 20 to 30 years, offering continuous beauty and cut flowers from winter to early summer. Protea eximia can also be cultivated in pots, making it versatile for both garden and container settings. This plant is grown from seed.
