Espaço Verde began long before I took my very first step. My grandmother was born in the spring of 1933. She was the one who instilled the love for plants in my family which remains alive to this day. Due to her love for plants, all of which had their own name, my grandmother Eulália was known as the Queen of Flowers. In 1995, my mother and brother continued her legacy by opening a company and managing a Protea plantation.

It's safe to say that I grew up with flowers in my hair and soil on my hands, however I only really developed a true taste for botany during the pandemic.

Espaço Verde is a project that reflects the importance of being connected to nature without disrupting it. We believe in a sustainable world and our mission is to offer our customers plants that arise from an economy that isn’t harmful to nature.

Our main values are:

To support Portuguese economy
Our plants are produced in Portugal, we do not import. This way, we support the local economy and reduce the environmental impact by avoiding CO₂ emissions. Some of the plants available are even grown by us.

To be verde
Whenever possible, we use recycled materials to package your orders. We opt for paper and cardboard and avoid using plastic.

To be a family
Alike the people we work with, we hope to have fruitful relationships with our costumers. Along the years, some are even considered friends! We want to be part of the entire process, so please count on our support for questions that may arise.

Thank you for reading about us!
Together we can make the world a greener place.
