Espaço Verde

  1. Orders
    • When placing an order, the customer is bound by the terms of the items selected by them within 72 hours from the date of the order. After this period, prices may be updated.
    • The customer can register or proceed as a guest and must accept the General Terms and Conditions.
    • It is the customer’s sole responsibility to fill in the data and provide correct information.
    • Espaço Verde provides the following payment methods for international orders: credit and debit card, bank transfer, and PayPal (fees may apply).
    • Payment must always be made in euros (€).
    • After confirming the order, Espaço Verde will send a confirmation email to the customer.
    • Payment must be made within a maximum period of 72 hours after sending the order confirmation email to the customer. After this period has passed, the order will be canceled without notice.
    • The customer may request an extension of the payment deadline via email to geral@lojaEspacoVerde.com with the subject “Extension of payment deadline (order number)”. This request may or may not be granted.
    • The customer may modify details of their order by emailing geral@lojaEspacoVerde.com with the subject "Order Modification (order number)”. The customer is able to change information such as address and phone number and is also able to add other products to their order.
      Espaço Verde should be contacted as soon as possible. These changes can only be made before the order is shipped and are subjected to approval.
    • Confirmation of payment by Espaço Verde within the indicated period, without any opposition from the customer, is contractually assumed to be acceptance of the order.
    • The invoice for the purchased items will be sent physically with the order and can be requested in advance by email to geral@lojaEspacoVerde.com with the subject “Invoice (order number)”.
  2. Shipping and delivery
    • Espaço Verde ships to: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
    • The shipping cost is calculated at check out and varies depending on the destination, weight, and value of the order.
    • The shipping costs are not set and may vary.
    • Espaço Verde ensures timely and correct shipment of the product. Espaço Verde is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
    • Depending on the payment method, bank confirmation may take up to 72 hours. After payment confirmation, shipping will be scheduled for the next available Monday.
    • The estimated time for shipping and delivery of the order is not binding. The transportation time is the total responsibility of the contracted carrier.
    • For international orders, shipments may be delayed during wintertime or due to other extreme weather conditions.
    • Espaço Verde doesn’t make shipments during weeks that have Portuguese bank holidays.
    • Espaço Verde does not schedule deliveries for specific days. If the customer is unavailable for the delivery of their order they should:
      • Contact Espaço Verde as soon as possible via email at geral@lojaEspacoVerde.com with the subject "Delivery (order number)".
      • Indicate which week they will be available to receive their order at the mentioned address.
      • This email should be sent before the order is shipped and the changes are subjected to approval.
    • If the customer refuses the delivery of the parcel, it will be returned without the order being refunded.
    • The customer may track the order through the carrier's tracking link. After shipping the tracking code will be sent to the customer.
    • If the customer is not available at the time of delivery of the order, it is their total responsibility to collect the order following the carrier's instructions. This collection must be made within the next 24 hours.
    • After shipment, any inquiries related to delivery or collection must be addressed to the carrier. The carrier's contacts can be found on the attempted delivery notice left in the customer's mailbox.
    • It is the total responsibility of the customer to provide Espaço Verde with a correct and complete address. If delivery is unsuccessful due to lack of a correct address, Espaço Verde is not responsible for new deliveries or refunds.
  3. Exchanges and Returns
    • If any items received are damaged or missing, the customer must contact us via email at geral@lojaEspacoVerde.com with the subject "Return (order number)" within 72 hours of delivery, indicating the following information:

- Order number,

- Name and quantity of items to be returned,

- Reason for return,

- Photographic evidence of how the items arrived in poor condition.

  • If the customer contacts us after the 72h period or through other communication channels such as social media or WhatsApp, the communication will not be considered valid.
  • The customer must await instructions from Espaço Verde to proceed with the return. Orders returned without Espaço Verde's approval will be discarded and not considered for refund or reshipment.
  • In case of a return not caused by Espaço Verde's fault, the shipping cost is fully borne by the customer.
  • We only offer refunds and exchanges for products sold at the regular price. Items on sale are not eligible for return or exchange (except in cases of poor quality or shipping error).
  • Purchased products may be returned provided that the items maintain the same appearance, health, and phytosanitary conditions as on the day they were delivered. Items cannot show any evidence of cuts, damage, mistreatment, root handling, plant division, or attempts at replanting. Espaço Verde reserves the right to refuse the return.
  • The return must be made in the exact condition in which it was received. Utilizing the original packaging containing all components, accessories, informational flyers and documents that accompanied it. It is to be shipped to an address later indicated. In the absence of any of these conditions, no refund will be issued.
  • In case of damage caused by improper packaging of the product by the customer, Espaço Verde reserves the right to refuse acceptance of the return.
  • Upon receiving and inspecting the returned items, we will send you an email to notify you of possible approval or rejection of your refund or to offer other resolution.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed within a maximum period of 14 days after receiving the item.
  • Resolutions may include total refund, partial refund, shipping new products or credit for future purchases.
  • If the customer requests to exchange their product for another which the price is higher, they must proceed with the payment of the remaining amount via bank transfer to the IBAN provided at the time of such request.
  • If the customer requests to exchange their product for another which the price is lower than the purchased product, Espaço Verde will refund the difference within a maximum period of 15 days, via bank transfer to the IBAN provided by the customer.
  • Small cuts, tears, or spots on plant leaves will not be considered quality issues as they are to be expected in living plants.
  • All photos are illustrative, and as they are living products, they can never be exact replicas of the photographs (except in particular cases where this information is present in the article description).
  • Espaço Verde is not responsible for incorrect or inadequate use by the customer that may damage the plants, such as product negligence, insufficient or excessive care and maintenance.
  • In case of unsuccessful deliveries where the customer did not collect the order from the carrier 24 hours after the delivery attempt, the refund or return may be denied.
