In its first year, it develops a striking rosette of silvery-green leaves that can span impressively wide. When mature, it sends up a spectacular flowering spire that dominates the garden, covered in white blooms that may occasionally show pale blue tones.
Transplanting requires care - choose cool, overcast conditions and water consistently during recovery. Remove any yellowing lower leaves to help the plant conserve energy during this adjustment period. While resilient once established, it benefits from regular watering.
